Fall is almost here!

Fall is a busy time of year on the ranch, and we had a great time at our first Farmers’ Market, which was actually the Hub City Flea Market in Jackson, TN.

Here are our three girls all dolled up in Cowgirl hats they convinced their Daddy to buy!

We met some great people excited about our beef and milk and how we do things here.

It was a great feeling to meet like-minded people face-to-face!

We are ever so slowly building our life and ranch and we appreciate all the support from like-minded people like you who understand that growing food this way is a very large labor of love … and a lot of labor!!!

We are humbled by those of you who are already our customers - who put your trust in us to provide you with safe and nutritious food. We know you are paying a premium for it, but you know it is produced in a natural and ethical way, and goes directly to support a hardworking family.

I leave you this morning with some recent pictures of our family.

Yeller loves his family so much!

The girls spent an afternoon digging a cave in a big dirt pile by our barn construction site.

The teenagers don’t need a big caption … :) … they are super helpful and capable boys.

Our turkey, George … or is it Georgina? Time will tell.

Ava, our kind milk cow! Some of you will be drinking her sweet milk soon!!!
